CALIFORNIA LOW COST AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE PROGRAM
Well there is a low cost programme for the consumers as government is taking initiative to provide a affordable low cost insurance plicy plan :
What is this low cost program
The main aim of the (CLCA) is to provide an affordable and economical auto insurance option to low-income good drivers.Due to the higher premium rate too many low-income drivers remain uninsured so to make it lawful that all drivers be insured.
Features of CLCA :
The CLCA program is not subsidized by taxpayers.
All of the following California counties are eligible these are listed below.

Imperial Inyo Kern Kings
Lake Lassen Los Angeles Madera
Marin Mariposa Mendocino Merced

San Diego San Francisco San Joaquin San Luis Obispo

Persons who are eligible for the CLCA program :
1)Person should be able to meet the low-income requirements which are (1 person = $26,000, 2 persons = $35,000, 4 persons = $53,000, 8 persons = $89,000)
2)Individual must meet the good driver standard (not more than one at-fault property damage only accident or more than one point for moving violation in the last three years)
3)Applicant is not involved in any fault accident which involves bodily injury or death in the past 3 years.
Be at least 19 years old
4)Person should have been continuously licensed to drive for the past three years
5)Person should have a vehicle valued at less than the $20,000
