Preparation for future :
Well nobody wants this to happen but it might take place so it is better to be prepared for it,it is advisable for every one to make sure that he/she is covered fully under insurance ,read the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.
Keep your auto insurance information (and vehicle registration)always ready this will be required to present along with your driving license,proof of insurance and registration if you are involved in an accident or traffic stop.
A disposable camera can also help you to take pictures of the accident scene which will help you in claim.
After accident
Call the police Report the accident and if necessary, request medical help.
Look and get following information after accident :
· Insurance information (including company and policy number) foreach vehicle involved in the accident· Make and model of the vehicles involved in the accident· Time, date, location, weather and road conditions· Direction and speed of drivers involved· How the accident occurred· Names, addresses and phone numbers of any witnesses to theaccident· Names, badge numbers of police officers or emergency personnel,and instructions on how to obtain a copy of the police report
